Support children or adults with learning disabilities to participate in a range of activities at a base or in the community. This may include setting up and clearing away after sessions and, supporting people to take part.
We run a wide range of activities including sports, music, dance and trips out. They take place at a various times - during the day and evenings, weekdays and weekends, term time and during the holidays!
Our work can only continue with continued funding.
Help us by undertaking a sponsored activity, such as running a marathon, or help us run a community event. Perhaps your employer could nominate Merton Mencap as their charity of the year and hold events to raise funds for us!

Become a Volunteer
A volunteer is someone who freely gives their time or services to their community, organisation or charity.
People volunteer for a variety of reasons - to learn new skills, meet new people or improve their employment prospects. Whatever the case, volunteering can be challenging, varied and extremely rewarding.
We have volunteering opportunities across our whole charity - working at our offices, supporting people with learning disabilities at our activity clubs and running fundraising events are just some examples.
We will be clear about the role, what the position involves and will provide all the support you need to really enjoy the volunteering experience with us.
