Merton Mencap CafeThe Merton Mencap Café is open to the public each Monday from 10am to 2pm at the Holy Trinity Church, The Broadway, Wimbledon, and offers a range of healthy home-made hot and cold dishes. The Café is run by adults with a learning disability, supported by Merton Mencap staff and volunteers.

The Merton Mencap Café also provides catering at local events, such as parties, exhibitions and Annual General Meetings.

Merton MencapThe project provides the opportunity for adults with a learning disability to learn skills which will also help them throughout their life. Each person has a personal plan, showing their goals and targets, which is used to track their progress and development.

The Merton Mencap Café was audited against the Food Hygiene Star Rating system, commonly known as "scores on the doors", which is run in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency. The audit provides information to the public about hygiene standards in food businesses, using a star rating system from 0 to 5 stars.

Following their inspection by LBM environmental health, our café scored 5 stars – the highest possible.
